Linings
Sauereisen linings are a step above coatings because of their advanced reinforcement. They
withstand significant physical abuse and are very low in permeability. Typically, these
materials are used as stand-along linings in primary and secondary containment areas. These
corrosion barriers are spray or trowel-applied at a thickness from 40 to 125 mils. Binder
systems available include epoxies, novolak epoxies and vinyl esters.
