REFRACTORY COATING 360

Sauereisen Refractory Coating No. 360 is a heat-cured refractory coating for expendable thermocouple tubes and induction furnace linings. No. 360 exhibits excellent coating properties and may be applied by rolling, dipping or casting.
No. 360 is also available in chemical-set formulation.

ELECTRIC REFRACTORY CEMENT 350

Sauereisen Electric Refractory Cement No. 350 is a chemically-setting inorganic cement specified for high temperature bonding applications. The product is supplied as a two-component sodium silicate cement consisting of a Powder and Liquid which are mixed together as used.

The excellent coating properties of Sauereisen No. 350 make it ideal for assembly and encapsulation of ceramic parts, electric elements and induction heating coils. It can also be used as a wash coating for sand-resin bodies and as a refractory coating. Electric Refractory Cement No. 350 may be applied by dipping, spraying, pouring or automatic dispensing.

It is ideal for coating molds and forms used to produce special shapes and patterns. No. 33S is supplied in powder form and need only be mixed with water to apply.

Sauereisen Cement 31 is a white, porcelain-like cement that is widely used throughout industry in a variety of applications including assembling, sealing, insulating and cementing of ceramics, porcelain, metal, and glass.

ELECTRICAL CEMENT DW-30

Sauereisen Electrical Cement No. DW-30 is an inorganic, chemically-setting, magnesium oxide base material which develops a slight expansion while hardening into a porcelain-like body. Since Sauereisen No. DW-30 is dimensionally stable from -100oF to +900oF and will not corrode resistance wires at elevated temperatures, it is recommended for embed- ding heating elements and potting resistors.

The stable nature of Electrical Cement No. DW-30 allows for application within explosion proof fittings. Other recommended uses are cementing knife blades into plastic, ceramic, wood or metal handles, weighting candlesticks or similar cavities, and sealing set screws. The product is supplied in Powder form and is easily mixed with water to apply.

PLASTIC PORCELAIN 30

Sauereisen Plastic Porcelain No. 30 is an inorganic, chemically-setting, magnesium oxide base material which expands slightly while hardening to a porcelain-like body. No. 30 is used for assembling silverware and cutlery, insulating lead wires on electrical fixtures and sealing conduits to prevent the spread of explosive gas.

A thermally conductive and electrically insulating cement, it resembles a durable ceramic upon curing and will resist high temperatures. The expanding curing property makes No. 30 a good candidate for potting applications and for filling other hollow cavities.

Cement No. 30 is supplied in a powder form and is mixed with water to apply. Due to its inorganic composition, Plastic Porcelain Cement is very stable and will neither outgas, nor cause skin irritations like many other adhesives.

Sauereisen Low Expansion Cement No. 29 is an inorganic cement used for embedding heating elements, insulating thermocouples, coating resistors and coils, and mechanically sealing parts where high resistance to electricity, chemicals and thermal shock is required. A strong resistance to cryogenic conditions makes No. 29 a common product for aerospace applications. No. 29 adheres to glass, porcelain, ceramics, metals and other surfaces.

FLOTEMP CEMENT 4

Sauereisen Flotemp Cement No. 4 is used for potting applications where high electrical insulation and thermal conductivity are required. No. 4 is specially formulated to limit the wicking nature of a porous substrate. This will prevent permeation of water into the substrate and the associated volume loss or cavitation of the cement. The need for double filling of ceramic units may be eliminated.
