PENEPRIME 500

PenePrime 500 is a water-borne epoxy primer to be used in conjunction with the Sauereisen line of coatings, linings and flooring materials. PenePrime is specifically formulated to penetrate deep within concrete substrates. It is recommended to ensure maximum adhesion where conventional primers may not easily penetrate, or where solvent thinned primers are undesirable.

This primer is an integral part of the aforementioned linings in that it seals porous substrates and promotes adhesion of the specified protective material. 500 helps reduce offgassing from concrete. It offers easy application properties to reduce total down time.

CONOWELD 501

ConoWeld 501 is a primer to be used in conjunction with the Sauereisen line of epoxy coatings, linings and flooring materials. ConoWeld 501 is applied by spray, brush or roller over concrete and steel.

This primer is an integral part of the Sauereisen lining system in that it seals porous substrates and promotes adhesion of the specified protective material. Easy application properties help to reduce total downtime.

CONOPRIME 502

Sauereisen ConoPrime 502 is a two-part epoxy primer to be used in conjunction with the Sauereisen ConoFlex 381. Recommended for use on concrete and various substrate types. Formulated to provide a chemical bond with ConoFlex Urethane 381.

ConoPrime 502 is specifically formulated to easily penetrate concrete substrates. It is recommended to ensure maximum adhesion where conventional primers may not penetrate.

VEPRIME 550

Sauereisen VEPrime 550 is a vinyl ester primer to be used in conjunction with Sauereisen vinyl ester systems. The function of 550 is to promote a tenacious bond of Sauereisen vinyl ester topcoats to concrete and steel substrates.

VEPrime is a packaged, pre-measured unit for use with the following Sauereisen materials: Vinyl Ester Polymer Concrete 410, NovolaK Fast-Trak VE Lining 441, NovolaK VEGlaze 472, NovolaK Vinyl Ester FibreLine 440 and NovolaK Vinyl Ester Polymer Concrete 465. These products comprise a system for chemical-resistant construction of sumps, dikes, containment areas, trenches, walls and other structural support columns or bases.

CHARACTERISTICS

HI-TEMP PRIMER 560

Sauereisen Hi-Temp Primer No. 560 is a single-component, moist-cured urethane primer to be used in conjunction with several Sauereisen coating and lining systems. The function of No. 560 is to promote a tenacious bond of Sauereisen epoxy, vinyl ester and urethane topcoats to concrete and steel substrates.

Hi-Temp Primer is primarily specified for applications subject to elevated temperatures common to flue gas, pulp & paper and process tank environments. Under challenging conditions, No. 560 is designed to resist heat to the same degree as the chemical-resistant topcoat used with it. No. 560 is especially useful where substrate or atmospheric moisture may interfere with the cure of epoxy or vinyl ester primers. The Primer is supplied as a single component to expedite its placement.
